Between 1982 and 1992 Alan Cheek created an on-going
series of paintings to capture the grace and beauty of six historic lighthouses
that dot the coast of North Carolina. These paintings were produced as they were
completed as limited editions of 1000 reproductions. Only "The Light at
Corolla" and "Bodie Island Light" remain available for purchase.
"The Hatteras Light", "Old Baldy", "Lookout", and
"The Ocracoke Light" are sold out editions. We have, in this section,
provided a place for you to view these historic masonry towers as portrayed by
the artist's detailed style.
