The "Warmth of Wood" project is a collaborative effort between two artists and and two friends, Jonathan Willis and Alan Cheek. Jonathan is a talented waterfowl decoy maker and Alan is a well-known realist painter. They have combined their artistic talents and their interest in the folk art of decoy carving to produce this unique piece of artwork. The Warmth of Wood shows shows in an arranged still-life setting, the process or stages of Jonathan's decoy making, featuring the bird in various stages of development.
